LITTLE LANGDALE, CUMBRIA, 2019
After seeing a giant-size panoramic of this scene some time ago in a Lake District garden centre, I instantly recognised it when coming across it quite by chance.
What appealed to me when setting up the camera was the feeling of enormous depth and distance, created in part by the soft, hazy light on the distant Bow Fell and its companions.
The little ladder, encouraging one to travel onwards to the distant hills, was the icing on the cake.
