WHITESTONE CLIFF, NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK, 2019
A visit to this impressive spot on the edge of the North York Moors is almost always accompanied by the constant chatter of dozens of jackdaws, nesting on Whitestone Cliff or soaring over the woods below.
Today was no exception. Although as the sun sank low over the Yorkshire Dales to the west, the birds became quiet, adding to the peaceful feel of the evening.
