BOW FELL, LANGDALE, CUMBRIA, 2017
The backlit tree on the left provides a pleasing counterpoint to the dark, brooding bulk of Bow Fell in the distance. The contrast enhanced by the rich, golden colour of the leaves.
I suspect many people would guess that this is an autumn picture. It was in fact taken in mid April when the colours of nature can look surprisingly autumnal.
